Cosa dire?Assolutamente!Quanti soldi ho speso per questo gioco!!!!!
Come originale. Perfetto!!!
...giocando così è fin troppo corto!
Meraviglioso! Immortale!!
Grazie
Not full screen Randomly skips through scenes When you tap a button it doesn’t go through Not the original I remember
I’ve loved this game since I was a child, so I was extremely excited to find this in the App Store. I splayed up until the falling platform level and hit all 9 prompts correctly and Dirk still dies. So there is no way to get past this point. Please update and fix this glitch.
Does not translate to a phone game. Controls not responsive. More frustrating than fun. Save your money.
I had it launched and played it and then closed it...and the app will no longer launch. It keeps crashing and sending a report to Apple.
It’s all fun and games until you get to the falling platform. If it gets buggy, you’ll NEVER get off that platform! 😂
As many others have mentioned it’s a wonderful game but this app becomes unplayable at a certain level. I wish they’d release an update……
Don’t buy, I’m not happy I did. The app freezes up and glitches at random scenes. If you exit the game, it allows you to continue the scene from the beginning but then freezes at the same place every time. This is terrible.
This is an amazing game it’s just like the arcade reminds me of when I was a teenager playing in the arcades all day
Falling platform glitch is still alive and well… you cannot get off the falling platform no matter what so you can’t complete the game.
People complaining about reaction time, yes, you must be fast, but it took me back to the 80’s for sure! I love the sounds and graphics! I never had enough quarters to get very far, now for $4.99 I can play as much as I want. I recommend this game.
The game is super fun, and I can play on the arcade cabinet, but when I want to play the regular mobile version I have to turn on the move guide to play, every time I try to turn the move guide off, the controls disappear. Please fix this, I want to be able to play full screen.
I’ve played this game in its original cabinet format, and visually this game is great, but the playability is terrible! It glitches all of the time and hinders the gameplay and then it gets stuck in loops and forces you to restart. If it was free, it wouldn’t matter, but they’re charging for this crap. Don’t waste your money.
It just cycles through a bunch of death scenes. I want my money back.
I had forgotten all about this game from back in the day until I saw it played on Stranger Things. Once I had, I couldn’t get it out of my mind. I hadn’t even considered that there might be an iOS version until the other day when I checked and, to my delight, there is! Now my whole family is playing it on our iPhones and iPads. The game is just like I remember it but, with enough time, practice, and memory (no quarters needed anymore), we’ve all been able to beat it - even my 8-yr-old. Love this and will definitely be buying the sequel!
After reading all of the reviews, I knew to expect the game to loop and not allow you past the “falling elevator” level. Yes, this happened to me. In settings, I shifted the MODE to be HOME instead of arcade. I was then able to finish the game! I would have given this 5 stars if the arcade setting worked. Enjoy!
The nostalgia is nice until you get to the 3rd or 4th falling platform section and die every time no matter what due to poor program timing
Elevator glitch. Don’t buy
This game requires lightening fast reactions. Fine, except it does not accept lightening fast inputs. Playing on a 2020 iPad Pro. Frustrating and disappointing.
The controls do not allow you to jump off the platform on the falling platform scene. Without being able to complete this scene, you cannot complete the game. Sad that this known bug exists but they continue to sell this app to people.
In the easy mode as I keep remembering the patterns you have virtually less than a second to make a move. Please add just a bit more time to respond and it would really help
The directions aren't on nearly long enough! All editing is about timing and the amateur idiots who created your tutorial are so sloppy they don't get it!
Have no issues whatsoever as soon many of the other reviews note. I’m still as terrible at this as game when I first played about 22 years ago! However, the nostalgia makes it so worth it! If you loved this game back in the day you will not be disappointed.
Awesome game. Brings back a lot of memories. But the game freezes at one certain spot every single time. Regardless of whether I re-download it or start over so can you try to fix it please
glitches all over. No time to make any moves. Useless game
I would give this a 5 star however there are 2 things that all APPs at this point should have: 1. The settings option that appear when the game starts is no longer available after you set them and play. So if I want to change some of the experience I can’t. 2. Login option to save to cloud so if you change phones you keep your scores. Now, I remember playing this as a kid and it was always a challenge to play and still is. This version is just as challenging and it takes time to get better which means you won’t be board. Overall play is nothing like what others have said in reviews from 2 years ago, as the play and continue options are great. Thanks
How have you lazy devs not fixed this yet? The platform sequence since your last update is broken. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME UNTIL THEY UPDATE IT.
The game won’t go past a certain point. Don’t try it you’ll regret it I promise you. I thought they might have fixed it. Nope!! Not in the several years that the apps been out. Don’t wast your money.
Falling platform still glitches.
The game and movement speed is increased by two. Gameplay and artwork is identical, but reaction time is decreased by two times original 80’s game speed. I own two Dragons Lair coin-op machines from the 80’s. The laser disc version and the PCB version. I have compared the two originals and the mobile version and there is quite a difference in game speeds. You must react extremely fast to complete a move. The controls for this game are difficult to get use to and are very close together which makes it hard to play. The sword button is in a perfect location so that is fine. So just beware! If you purchase this game don’t expect it to be just like the original. Only thing that is exact is the graphics. The sound is different as well. Hope this helps you all. Game On!
The sound on this game does not work at all. No effects or music. When I wrote to the company’s tech support they responded telling me to turn the volume on my phone up as if that wasn’t obvious. This game is a classic and I really wish it worked but it does not play any sound. I’m going to write Apple for a refund.
The platform glitches aren’t cool. The game is unresponsive to commands and you just keep smashing into the floor. Thus making it impossible to move past that level. I suppose if you just relabeled the game as 50% of the real game that would seem fair. Or perhaps not dragons lair at all since no player will actually get to see the dragon.... glitch lair - yes that feels right
Is there an update the platforms like the other review I get perfect then still die
Way too difficult to use the direction and sword controls on the touch screen. Even on EASY mode, game is impossible. Wasted $4.99 and played the game for all of 3 minutes before uninstalling.
This game is Only for people who have a fast reaction time so if your slow don't buy this, but if you are going to not buy this please buy this because it's fun for your friends and yourself because it's so action-packed because every room is randomized and the Amazing art is so nice if the game was pixelized you wouldn't feel a lot when the guy dies but the artwork makes is feel so horrible when the guy dies but some of the death scenes are just recycled from other scenes ( this was probably just for space and money and time ) so it's worth 5.00 $ on iPhone so I would buy it and I did and it was made it the 80’s for arcades so it's a little fuzzy but I don't mind and you can watch the entire game and see all of the death scenes and what you were supposed to do
Sounds not working
I love the original very much but this falls short in several categories. First there are still glitches that need to be fixed, one is the stage where the floor drops out several times and gives opportunities to jump. I hit the bottom on the exact time and he doesn’t jump and I fall to my death every time and can’t advance. The second is I already purchased this game from the App Store and it still charged me $4.99 even though I already own the game. I will be addressing this as well. The sound and the visuals aren’t in sync which is kinda odd. Overall this game needs some major love poured into it by the developers if its going to hold a candle to its former glory.
The game is great but has a few horrible glitches, the elevator loop that’s been mentioned by many others and in the scene with the closing brick wall nothing happens the first time around.
I’ve noticed that the app can hang if you attempt to resume a game after exiting completely out and coming back in. There is a particular scenario I ran into after continuing a game in the falling platform scene. There are 9 chances to jump off the platform. I played the scene correctly hitting all 9 times and still died. Maybe I need to find a walk through, but it appeared to me to be a bug. I loved this game and still do, but it needs to be a tad more forgiving in easy mode. I think my screen isn’t calibrated just so or my skin is to dry to register taps reliably..
Game is fun all the way up until level 9 elevator scene. Player will not jump off the platform all the way down through 9 floors it just crashes. Please fix or refund my 5 dollars playa! 💯
Neither I nor my wife can pass the elongated falling sequence (right 3 times, left 3 times, right three times). Another reason not to iOS game. Considering a refund.
I loved this game growing up but it is horrible. The game locks up and there is no update to fix it. I would not recommend this game to anyone.
It is possible to clear all the levels and save the princess. Fun 30 minutes if you have this hanging over your head - running out of quarters before completing the original.
At first, the game seemed and played well. Then, it started to glitch. During the falling platform section, the game wouldn’t let me “act”. Then I was stuck an infinite loop. Now I’m out five bucks.
All time favorite but things changed when they updated the game last year. It keeps looping on the falling platform elevator scene. The controls can now only be on the left side of the screen. No more top scores posted. I do not understand why they felt the need to update it. This game was PERFECT pre-2018. Hopefully gets fixed. The game is still fun up until you start looping on the falling platform; then you’re done.
This is one of the best ports o have ever seen. I don’t know why the one mega neighsayer said the timing was bad. As I recall, the arcade machines were just as bad, highly persnickety and this is a faithful reproduction of that it seems. It also depends on the speed of your hardware somewhat how lagging sync issues can be and what you have in the background sucking up processor time. I found it as playable as the arcade except I’m more fond of an actual joystick. The video is one of the cleanest and clearest renditions I have seen of this game and I’ve played it on almost every system I’ve owned. The non arcade booth facade gameplay is better and I’m not sure yet what difference is between arcade or home version but there are lots of different options and combinations thereof to try. It’s a very faithful rendition. It may be a tad bit better than the previous gold standard DVD video version which was until now the most complete best looking version I had played. Glad to see an old favorite from the magical era of laserdisc make a combative. Now if someone oh someone would just please put out Cobra Command and that other hyper realistic looking space game that game out during that same game era.. I’d be really really happy about that. Two awesome games completely disappeared. They were more fun than Dragon’s Lair in my book.
I Love dragon’s lair there is so much amazing about this port but there is one problem that desperately has to be fix. One of the platform scenes will not respond leaving you unable to finish the game in the future I hope to see this fixed then I will change my rating to 5 stars.
The app gets stuck on the Elevator level and the scene plays over and over again whether you complete the level or not! Please review this error and get it updated! Thank you!
Certain level hangs and cannot continue. Don’t waste money on this
Like previous reviews, there is an endless during the falling platforms. The game is unwindable. You can not pass this scene at all. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!
